Compartir y cambiar parches.

Datos meteorológicos: MET Norway (CC BY 4.0) y METAR de aviationweather.gov.

4. Inteligencia artificial

Firescoop · Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026 · Developed by Slightlys

Summary: Firescoop has no accounts, no third-party ads, no analytics or trackers, and the app sends no personal data to the developer. We only receive what you choose to email us.

Data we collect

None. Slightlys runs no servers that store player data, and no sign-up or login is required.

If you write to us. If you contact support or use “Report a problem with this place”, you send the email yourself from your mail app and see everything in it before sending: the place code and name, its coordinates (those of the scooping point or airfield, not yours) and the game version. We use your address and message only to reply and fix the game, never share them, and delete them on request.

Device permissions

Location (while in use). Used only to show real weather for your area, find nearby water-scooping spots and, in “Real fires”, sort fires by distance and pick your region. It is processed on your device and never sent to or stored by Slightlys. You can deny it and still play.

Microphone. Only active in online games while you hold the radio button, to talk with other pilots in the room. Audio goes through the Firescoop room server (Cloudflare), which only relays it live to the other pilots in the room; Slightlys does not record or store it. You can deny it and play without voice.

Photos (add only). Only when you ask for it while sharing a moment, medal or patch, the app saves that image to your photo library. Firescoop never reads, sees or uploads any of your photos: the permission is add-only. If you deny it you can still share through the iOS share sheet.

Keyboard, mouse and controllers. On Mac, and on iPad with a keyboard or controller, keys, mouse and controller buttons are read only on your device to fly the aircraft. They are never logged, stored or sent anywhere.

Sharing and trading patches. Cards and patches are shared through the system share sheet with whoever you choose. The shared text may include Firescoop’s App Store link. The QR code or link used to trade patches only carries the patch design (name, colours, emblem) and never goes through any Slightlys server.

Third-party services

To work, the app may query: Apple (Maps, Game Center for leaderboards and achievements, iCloud, App Store, including the App Store rating prompt, which can only appear after finishing a mission with 3 stars and whose rating is received and handled by Apple — see Apple's privacy policy), MET Norway (Norwegian Meteorological Institute open data, for real weather; the request only carries a position rounded to about 1 km), aviationweather.gov (public METAR data), Amazon Web Services Terrain Tiles (open elevation data), OurAirports (open airfield data), OpenStreetMap through the Overpass API (overpass-api.de and overpass.kumi.systems: roads, towns and churches around where you fly; the request only carries the map area), Cloudflare (R2 and Workers) and, as a fallback, GitHub Pages (luisangel86laol-lang.github.io/firescoop-mundo), which host the game's world data per zone, taken from OpenStreetMap and the X-Plane Scenery Gateway, and the runway, scooping point and scenery corrections; the request only says which zone or file is downloaded, Cloudflare (Workers and Durable Objects) for the online room server, which relays live, between the aircraft of the same room (up to 8), position, drops, fire, radio voice, the dispatch plan (the fire and each pair’s airfield and water) and the weather chosen by the leader, identified only by the 6-digit room code and a random per-install identifier, with no account or personal data and nothing stored (the room is deleted when the last pilot leaves; the invite link, firescoop-sala.luisangel86-laol.workers.dev/sala/…, only carries that code and you send it to whoever you choose), NASA FIRMS (NASA open data on active fires detected by satellite, for “Real fires”; a public file per region is downloaded and the request does not include your location) and NIFC · WFIGS (US public data on active fires; no location sent). Requests contain only what is strictly needed (e.g., an approximate area or an airfield identifier) and no user identifier from us. Those services may log your IP address as any web server does; Slightlys has no access to those logs.

Weather data: MET Norway (CC BY 4.0) and METAR from aviationweather.gov.

Artificial intelligence

Firescoop was developed with the help of artificial intelligence tools (coding and some 3D models, such as the pilots and ground crew, which are then retouched by hand). No AI is used inside the game: there is no AI chat, no content is generated with AI while you play, and we do not send your data to AI services. The radio voices are your iPhone, iPad or Mac system voices.

Premium subscription

Purchases and renewals are handled entirely by Apple. Slightlys never receives your name, email or payment details. Manage or cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions (on Mac: App Store › your name › Account Settings › Subscriptions). The same subscription works on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Offer codes (“I have a code”) are redeemed in Apple’s own sheet; Slightlys receives no data about who redeems them.

Data stored on your device

Settings, progress, stars, aircraft paint, your logbook, the fires you enter by hand and the radio frequencies you save are stored locally and, if iCloud is enabled, synced through your iCloud account (Apple).

Children

Firescoop collects no data from anyone, including children. Online games need no account or personal data: you join with a room code and only talk to the people in that room.

Your rights

We only keep the emails you send us, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. Beyond that, there is nothing of yours to access, correct or delete in our systems. Contact us with any question.

Changes

Any change will be posted here with a new date.
